Very good. I ordered a grits with American cheese & my friend ordered a pan con bistec. It was all delicious the location is very small & has 2 parking spaces only. The service was quick I ordered for pick up & my food was ready when I requested it.

Amazing Cuban Frita diner. A frita is a Cuban hamburger the meat is combined with chorizo. A great Family owned Local place .. super friendly 6.50 for a Frita !

[El Mago de las Fritas] Local family-owned restaurant in West Miami specializing in Cuban Fritas. The best way to describe this restaurant is imagine a Cuban diner serving up burgers and sloppy joes, etc except Fritas which is a beef and chorizo burger with onions. Has some press features and even Obama came here, see last post Ordered different variations of the Fritas. I think it was fine, tasted exactly how you would expect it to taste in a way. 10 out of 10 experience! Upon walking into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted with a friendly welcome! We sat at the bar instead of getting a table, and every single person was extremely nice and guided us through the menu. All of their orders are freshly made, and they make everything from scratch, including the sauce! It definitely felt like a family restaurant. I was so excited to see that former President Barack Obama came here as well to enjoy a meal! The food was full of flavor and I cannot wait to come back!

First time having a frita and everything here was delicious! The tostones were light and crisp, fried to perfection and served hot with aioli and crystal hot sauce. Yum! My favorite was the cortadito with evaporated milk. Exquisite. The ladies who helped us were super sweet and helpful. The mago himself was there and every local who entered went straight back to talk to him. Looking forward to tomorrow so I can go have another and try more on the menu! A truly fine first meal in Miami!

Having tried Cuban Hamburgers in the past, I wasn't a big fan of them. Working in the area & lots of great things being said, including recognition from SoFlo Wine & Food Fest. I found parking in the 2 space parking lot in the front. Was greeted by a friendly & efficient staff that provided great service. The ambiance was slightly different than I expected with a downplay in its Cuban roots, No Latin music playing, English pop. Only quaint display of Cuban culture, but the star of the show was the Burger, and meeting the Rey himself
